CONNECTING TO THE GAME ON BBO
Step 1: On the home screen of BBO, click the “Competitive” button.
Step 2: Now click on the “Free Tournaments” button .
Step 3: Search for the “BRIDGE LESSON” tournament. Click on that when you find it. (Note: this will only be visible within 90 mins or so prior to the start time).
Step 4: Now you will be on the registration page. Here you can register with your human partner, or choose to play with a robot for the entire event.
Registration: If playing with a real person, simply type their name into the partner box and click invite. When they accept you and your partner will be registered to play.
Registration: If you would prefer, you can play with a robot for the entire event. You can choose this by clicking the button highlighted here. (This does result in a charge of 25 cents.)
Looking for a partner? Check out the partnership desk (upper right corner of toolbar). Here you will be able to see who else is looking for a human partner for the event.
You can add your name to the list by clicking the “Add your name” button on the bottom of the list. (you may have to scroll down to see this). You can also click on the players names and learn more about how they play.
When you find someone compatible, or someone you know, simply click invite and they will get a notification. You can also always return to the register tab and play with a robot if you like.
